Allison (Owner)

She is a nationally certified groomer through NDGAA and keeps her sights set on continued education and keeping up with current styles. At a young age, she knew that the animal world would be her career. She worked as a vet tech at a clinic while helping them get their brand new grooming department off the ground. She has been in the grooming field for 14 years and the owner of Bark Twice for 6. Learning techniques like handstripping has been a focus for her in the last few years. She enjoys grooming all breeds of dogs and cats.

Outside of the salon, she loves hitting the bike trails out at Alafia and kayaking the local river systems. Her miniature poodle Rara has been a wonderful companion and grooming competition buddy for 5 years.

Pup

Pup has been grooming for 10 years and loves to continuously learn about the craft. When asked if she had a favorite breed to groom, pups answer of course was, “I love grooming ALL dog breeds. Each breed has a different style and I want to be able to bring the pizzazz to all! Even if the dogs don’t like being groomed, I like to help show them the way to a life a stylish life! Of course, those dogs take time and patience but I am willing to take time to help them enjoy grooming and show them some love.”

Pup met her faithful sidekick companion Pedro while grooming at Bark Twice and adopted him. You will see him laying in bed behind Pup most days, while she works. Pup loves dogs more than anything, but she does have a life aside from grooming, she enjoys camping with Pedro, hiking with Pedro, rock climbing while Pedro watches, and reading with Pedro.

Justin

Lover of all animals furry, scaly, feathered and everything in between. He has been grooming for 5 years and have found it to be quite the rewarding experience. He particularly enjoys working with double coated dogs that usually need a full blowout and neatening of their feathering.

When he isn’t grooming dogs, he can be found tending to the many reptiles he keeps as well as his ferret (Daisy) and his dog (Molly). Some of his goals include furthering his skills and technique as a groomer, reptile breeding projects, and wildlife rehabilitation volunteer work.
